DGS carton freezing solutions
Our cooling and freezing tunnels use a system based on blowing cold air. This system ensures uniform acclimatisation to cool or freeze products. Using low temperatures in a controlled environment ensures short cooling and freezing processes. Think of cycle times ranging from two to 48 hours.
The conveyor belt systems make loading and unloading fully automatic. The belts are precisely timed according to the desired temperature the product must reach. This is easily set by the operator with the integrated control system that comes with the system. The same system also provides full tracking of the products to be cooled.
We use a first in, first out system, which means that all boxes make a full rotation in the system. The infeed and outfeed conveyors for the boxes are therefore on the same side. Due to fast cooling, our systems are suitable for a high throughput of products, provided they have the same target temperature.
